- Francine Marzanek BSc, BEd | CHAP Program Planner, McMaster Department of Family Medicine.
Francine Marzanek is a project planner with the Cardiovascular Health Awareness Program (CHAP) and joined the Department of Family Medicine in April 2009. Prior to this, she worked at the Brant County Health Unit for 5 years focusing on population based community health promotion strategies. As a research coordinator at McMaster, she has been involved with planning, implementing, and evaluating multiple health promotion studies, including the Truckers Research for Innovative Health Promotion Programs and CHAP. Francine has research interests related to cardiovascular health promotion, chronic disease prevention and the collaborative networks developed to support these initiatives at the community level.

Ms. Girard holds a Ph.D. in sociology from McGill University and a post doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley. Her research interests include primary care, immigration and community-based research.

Alison Jenkins Jayman holds a PhD in sociology from York University. Her research interests encompass social inequality, health and health care, and public policy in Canada and abroad.
